Discounted Energy Audits Available In 2013!
As part of the Brattleboro Home Energy Challenge, you can receive a professional energy audit from a local contractor for $250 (a $400 value), with that amount credited to you if you move forward with a home energy project costing at least $2,000. Contact us, or check out the list of participating contractors to sign up.
Volunteer And Earn Time Trade Hours
The Brattleboro Time Trade has offered to support the Home Energy Challenge with a grant of Time Trade hours. Volunteer time spent working on the HEC in Brattleboro or surrounding BTT communities can now earn Time Trade hours. Register for the Brattleboro Time Trade.

Heating oil and propane prices in Vermont have gone up over 350% since 1998, from under $1 per gallon to almost $4 per gallon today. These graphs from the U.S. Energy Information Agency show a consistent upward trend in heating fuel prices over the last 15 years.
